Senior Minister of State Indranee Rajah talks about FLIP!

In her keynote address at the Future Lawyering Conference 2017, Senior Minister of State Indranee Rajah, Ministry of Law and Ministry of Finance, talked about the changing legal sector, technology, innovation and FLIP.

"18. Let me round off this part on technology by referring to the Future Law Innovation Programme or FLIP announced by CJ Sundaresh Menon last week. FLIP is a platform for law firms to collaborate with technology players to innovate and develop products and services. It has three main components:

a. first, a co-working space for shared services and facilities;

b. Second, a virtual community platform which is a virtual extension of the physical FLIP community environment;

c. Third, a legal sector-specific accelerator to groom promising legal tech start-ups and incubate new business models or services conceived by law firms.
